Her mother, Marcia Rocha, witnessed part of the beating, which lasted almost two minutes, after arriving to pick her up at the exit.

‘My daughter was naked in front of everyone. And seeing that scene hurt me, but I couldn’t do anything,’ she told TV Tem. “I felt helpless, I couldn’t save my daughter.”

Rocha said he forced his way into the school and found his daughter crying.

The teen was taken to a local urgent care center and treated for bruising.

Rocha’s husband filed a police report and even considered seeking revenge against the harassers, according to Brazilian newspaper Metrópoles.

Rocha said her daughter recently received treatment after doctors suspected she had autism.

“Last week I didn’t take it seriously because I thought it was a teenage thing,” the worried mother said. ‘Today, when I arrived, I saw the fight and, until now, I don’t understand.

‘I send my daughter to school with a broken heart, with fear, because she has autism and suffers persecution at school, bullying. “I don’t know who to turn to anymore,” she added.

The Birigui Board of Education opened an investigation. All three students transitioned to remote learning for the remainder of the week.
