A unique revolving mansion in California has been put on the market for $5.3 million.
The spaceship propertylocated on the sloping hills of Mount Helix in La Mesa, San Diego, offers incredible views that can be enjoyed from every angle with 55 picture windows and, of course, its rotating mechanism.
Built in 2004 by former homebuilder and engineer Al Johnstone, the 200-ton structure is mounted on a steel track with 16-inch wheels.
A 1.5 horsepower motor then allows it to rotate 360 degrees in just 33 minutes.

Johnstone, who spent $700,000 on construction, previously said Dawn.com: ‘No one is going to get dizzy.
“The fastest he can move is a tenth of a mile per hour.”
He said the trickiest part of the building process was “how to stay attached to utilities while spinning the house endlessly back and forth.” Gas, electricity, water, sewage.
After giving it some thought, he designed a central non-rotating stainless steel core to house all of these components.
During construction, Johnstone also decorated the house with updated smart home features, to make life as easy as possible.
There are automated systems for air conditioning and lighting, and there’s an iris-scan lock on the front door, so no keys are needed.
In terms of living spaces, the property offers a gourmet kitchen, cozy living room with fireplace, dining area, three and a half bathrooms, and four well-appointed bedrooms.
The master bedroom bed can also swivel.
