A two-year-old girl is fighting for her life as a car and truck crashed head-on in Sydney’s southwest.

Emergency services were called to King Street, Rossmore, at around 9am on Tuesday after A silver Holden SUV and a truck were damaged in a head-on collision.

A two-year-old boy, who was in the van, was taken to Westmead Children’s Hospital in a critical condition.

The 35-year-old driver of the van was taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition for mandatory testing after she was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics.

The 31-year-old truck driver was taken to Liverpool Hospital for mandatory testing in a stable condition after being treated by a NSW ambulance at the scene.

A crime scene has been established and an investigation has been launched.
