Ross Kemp has revealed why he will never have a hair transplant as he mulls a new phase of his life in a candid new interview on Sunday.
The 59-year-old actor opened up about aging and what it means to be an older dad in school, as well as his relationship with his appearance.
Ross is married to his wife Renee O’Brien, a lawyer, and they have three children together: Leo, eight, and twins Ava and Kitty, six. He also has a teenage son, Oliver, from a previous relationship.
He explained that although he wishes he had a head of hair, he would never get hair implants, joking: ‘That’s me. If you don’t like it, you know what you can do!’
He said The temperature: ‘I’m trying to make myself presentable, which isn’t easy with this face. I look at myself in the mirror and think: sultana crushed.

“Would I like to have a head of hair?” Sure, but I would never have hair implants or plastic surgery to fix that lump under my chin. It’s me. If you don’t like it, you know what you can do.
Speaking about being an older dad on the school run, he added: “I never eat breakfast, which gives me time to do the school run.
“I’m older than most fathers, but that has its advantages. I’m calmer when things go wrong and I’m better at keeping things in perspective.
Last year, Ross revealed his wife “straightened out” him early in their relationship by admitting he often engaged in “benders” with his pals.
The star married his second wife, Australian Renee, in 2012 and the couple have been happily married ever since.
Ross – who rose to fame as Grant Mitchell in Eastenders – appeared on the Plot Twist podcast where he made comments about his wife.
When asked why his current marriage lasted, he replied: “Renée is quite practical, she’s Australian, she’s a lawyer, she’s very straight.
“She had never seen EastEnders. She didn’t know I was Grant Mitchell or anything like that and she didn’t really understand that I made documentaries.

Revealing how he behaved badly at the start of their relationship, he said: “I had just come back from Afghanistan when I first met her and I generally behaved pretty badly for the first four or five weeks .”
He added: “I’ve changed now, obviously, but I used to get a little wild with some guys, and she kind of straightened me out.”
“But she knows what I’m doing and you know, there’s a great saying, especially used by my friends in the armed forces, which is ‘quick goodbye and long hello.’
After his divorce from his first wife Rebekah, Ross welcomed his first child, a boy, with his partner and former makeup artist Nicole Coleman.
Since his marriage to Renée, the documentary filmmaker has welcomed three other children.
The father-of-four also spoke about the trouble drunk boys cause him when they go out in public: ‘If they’ve been at the pub all day, sometimes they want to give you a hug or they might want to give you a little bit of tap.
“I went out for the first time in a long time to watch rugby on a Friday night and yeah, there were some guys there who were really ready to show me how tough they were.
“There were also some who wanted to give me a big hug and cry on my shoulder. But in general, most people are really nice
“I think I’ve only turned down one selfie and it was because someone said, ‘Oh, you!’ Give me a fucking selfie’ and I said, ‘Not today my friend’. It happens.’

He left the BBC soap in 1999, 10 years after arriving in Albert Square and with several soap awards under his belt.
Ross reappeared in 2005 and returned in 2016 for the funeral of his character’s mother, Peggy Mitchell, played by the late Dame Barbara Windsor.
