Police hunt crazy driver who ran into pedestrians in road rage – pinning a woman against a wall with his Skoda Octavia

An insane driver deliberately rushed towards pedestrians in a row of anger on the road, pressing a terrified woman against a wall.
The hit-and-run crash that injured a woman in west Sydney is under investigation.
At 6:30 pm Saturday, emergency services were called to Penelope Lucas Lane near Virginia Lane, Rosehill, after reports that a pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle.
Police have learned that a man and woman were involved in an argument with an unknown man who drove a Skoda Octavia.
The unknown man would then have driven the vehicle to the pedestrians and pressed the woman against a wall.
The man is described as African in appearance, with short curly hair, a red basketball jersey and shorts (stock image)
The unknown man turned and fled the scene in the vehicle.
The 41-year-old woman received on-site treatment for a serious lower leg injury before being transferred to Westmead Hospital in stable condition.
The 37-year-old man sustained a minor foot injury and did not need to be hospitalized.
Cumberland Police Area Command agents were in attendance, and detectives began an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The area and surrounding area were extensively searched and the vehicle was located in Crown Street, Harris Park a short time later.
The driver had fled the scene before the arrival of the police.
The man is described as having an African appearance, with short curly hair, wearing a red basketball jersey and shorts.
