A three-year-old boy died in a terrible accident.
The Forensic Accident Unit has launched an investigation after a three-year-old boy died in a crash in Queensland overnight.
A Mitsubishi ASX was travelling along Lowmead Road in Rosedale, a town between Bundaberg and Gladstone, at around 7.30pm when it left the road and crashed.
Passersby and emergency services attempted to help the boy, but the three-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 38-year-old driver was taken to Bundaberg Hospital with minor injuries, while an eight-month-old passenger was unharmed.
The Forensic Accident Unit is investigating the circumstances of the accident.
Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
