Earlier this year, Rosario helped kick off the first day of LA Comic Con, which was held at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
The event was marketed as three days of comics, gaming, cosplay, anime and pop culture, according to its website.
The Rent star had a meet-and-greet with her fans, where she signed autographs and posed for photos before moving on to the next event.
The actress then took the stage as part of Spotlight On: Rosario Dawson, where she talked about some of her biggest and most impactful roles, and what they’ve meant to her and her fans over the years.
Among the most beloved characters she has played are Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian and Ahsoka, as well as Claire Temple in Daredevil and Luke Cage.

The character of Ahsoka has long appeared in the Star Wars universe, first appearing in the animated film Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008), followed by several animated television shows.
All of this happened before Rosario took on the role for the second season of the hit series The Mandalorian (2020), which is the creation of Jon Favreau.
“I remember meeting our Princess Leia, our Carrie Fisher, at a convention in Chicago, and seeing what the fans were like with her, and you know, I had done some readings with Mark Hamill,” the New York City native shared while on stage, according to WPVI TV.
“Being able to use the force and be in this space where I can legitimately and officially say ‘May the force be with you’,” I remember watching The Mandalorian episode with my mom and saying it at the end, and To my mom, literally , he liked this slow turn of his head from the screen to my face, and he had tears in his eyes,” she explained.
Rosario continued to share more stories from her long relationship with Star Wars as a fan and as a performer.
‘I literally just took a picture of my grandson next to an R2-D2 and a C-3PO with this whole sticker that was all over the mural wall, saying, “The force is strong with this one.” And I said, “It’s coming full circle, guys! It’s beautiful.”
The actress has also played the intrepid nurse Claire Temple in several Marvel television series, including Daredevil (2015-2016), Jessica Jones (2015), Luke Cage (2016-2018), Iron Fist (2017) and The Defenders ( 2017).
