Rosanna Arquette, 63, accidentally crashes her car into a Malibu mall… but ‘no one was hurt’ even though the actress was ‘shaken’
Rosanna Arquette accidentally crashed her car into Malibu’s Point Dume Village shopping center Tuesday morning.
“We can confirm that Rosanna Arquette was involved in a traffic incident in Malibu,” the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department revealed in a statement to People.
Los Angeles Fire Station 71 Captain Mike Rivera has informed the Malibu Times that ‘thankfully no one was injured’ in the collision.
Arquette, 63, was taken to the hospital anyway just to be safe, and was apparently “a little bit shaken up by what happened,” Rivera said.
He showed no signs that he was under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the incident, the exact cause of which is still “pending investigation,” authorities explained to foxnews.

Several first responders, including the Los Angeles County Fire Department and the Malibu/Lost Sheriff’s Station, arrived at Point Dume Village after the crash.
“Around 9:45 am a vehicle that was trying to park, it is not known exactly what happened, but instead of going back, it went ahead and removed three pillars that support the roof,” Rivera said: “luckily there was no one.” injured, we had two tables close by, but luckily no one was sitting there.’
He added: “Right now, we’re just waiting for the engineering to come out to deem the building safe and make sure it’s safe.”
Rivera revealed that affected businesses would have to be closed for a minimum of three to five hours, with his department on hand “making sure it doesn’t collapse.”
The Point Dume Village shopping center contains local favorite Lily’s Malibu, a restaurant that has been in business for roughly a quarter of a century.
On the professional front, Arquette was recently cast opposite Ron Perlman in an upcoming horror-thriller called Succubus.
She has several projects in the works, including the drama Men Of Divorce, in which she and James Norton play a couple whose marriage has fallen apart.
Arquette also has a role in the upcoming film Here’s Yianni!, about a Greek restaurant owner whose failing faculties make him think he’s a late-night TV host.
She’s part of a brilliant show business family: her sister Patricia won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 2015 and her brother David starred in the first Scream movies.

He has been outspoken in his belief that Weinstein seriously damaged his career after he turned down his advances at the Beverly Hills Hotel in the 1990s.
