Ronda Rousey revealed the WWE wrestler she confronted for his sexist actions in a hallway

Ronda Rousey has revealed which male WWE star she confronted after he pulled the string on her sweatpants.

The franchise has come under fire in recent months for the ongoing scandal surrounding Vince McMahon, who became the center of sex trafficking allegations earlier this year and resigned from his position at TKO.

While Rousey, 37, who wrestled in WWE from 2018 until her departure last October, said she never faced any misconduct from McMahon directly, she did mention that another wrestler did something she didn’t like.

Drew Gulak, who currently wrestles in NXT, was accused of inappropriate actions in a public hallway, despite being “barely an acquaintance” of Rousey at the time.

She said the incident highlighted the company’s culture, as no other WWE employees intervened despite what was happening in front of their eyes.

Rousey told NewsNation: ‘No one around me acted like I was abnormal. All the kids around me were like, “This is just part of the day.”

She later confronted Gulak, telling him that if he pulled a similar stunt, with her or another woman, then “we’re going to have a problem,” and he quickly backtracked and thanked her for bringing it to his attention.

She added: “I wonder, if this guy comes up to me and does this kind of thing to me where there are other people around, what happens to these other girls when he’s not in a hallway?”

Rousey felt that no one else was speaking out about the issue because they fear “negative repercussions” from WWE.

He added: “Everyone is being held hostage by their careers, but since I don’t plan on going back there unless they make some very big changes, I don’t really care if they take me back or not.”

“I can fight wherever I want, and the truth must be told.”

Gulak responded to the news on X (formerly Twitter) writing: ‘Backstage at a WWE event in 2022, I saw Ronda talking to a group in the hallway.

‘I stopped to say hello and shake hands with everyone, and in an attempt to shake his hand, I accidentally touched his lanyard.

“A complete accident, and I apologized for the mishap.”

He had previously described WWE as an “absolute shit show” and vowed to never return to the franchise.

She said: ‘Sometimes it’s hard to know where Vince McMahon’s evil, unethical, slimy on-camera persona ends and where the questionably ethical, often sued and repeatedly accused of sexual misconduct Vince McMahon begins…’
