Ronda Rousey has announced that she is pregnant with her second child.
The former UFC champion and WWE fighter already shares a two-year-old daughter, La’akea Makalapuaokalanipo, with husband Travis Browne.
But she announced at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday that the couple are expecting their second child together.
Rousey made the announcement on a panel with WWE legend and actor Dave ‘Batista’ Bautista, leaving fans excited.
The judo specialist attended the convention to promote her debut graphic novel “Expect the Unexpected,” which launches via a Kickstarter campaign on Thursday.

“It’s like Knocked Up meets John Wick, and also a romantic comedy,” Rousey said of the project in a promotional clip, perhaps hinting at her pregnancy.
“The main character is a super nerd, a hitwoman, who is also a hopeless romantic,” she described. “Unfortunately, she’s on the verge of killing everyone she sees. So it’s hard for her to connect with anyone.”
After racking up armbars on her way to MMA stardom, the UFC’s first-ever women’s champion racked up six title defenses in her incredible title run. In addition to her 6-0 professional record prior to entering the promotion, Rousey racked up an impressive 12-fight finish streak in the cage.
She suffered her first loss to Holly Holm by knockout and attempted a comeback before being stopped by Amanda Nunes and retiring from MMA.
After parting ways with the UFC, Rowdy tried his hand at professional wrestling and found immediate success in the WWE Universe.
Rousey and Browne tied the knot in August 2017 in the former UFC heavyweight’s hometown of Hawaii. They then welcomed La’akea in September 2021.
In addition to La’akea and her soon-to-be second child, Rousey also plays the stepmother to two of Browne’s children from his previous marriage.
