Ron DeSantis heaped praise on his wife Casey as he laid out his manifesto for Florida and glimpsed his likely 2024 presidential campaign at his State of the State address.

Florida’s governor pledged to make sure his state’s “No. 1′ in the US and attacked President Biden in his speech to the Florida legislature.

He spoke to lawmakers as they kicked off their next session and as Republicans introduced a bill to ban abortion after six weeks.

The Republican praised economic growth, low unemployment and a budget surplus and pushed for commitments to increase parent involvement in education and end illegal immigration.

“Florida is number 1 and by working together we will ensure that Florida remains the number 1 state in the United States,” he told lawmakers on Tuesday.

“By working together, we have taken on big challenges and led the country on many big issues. We don’t make excuses. We don’t complain. We just get results’.

He denounced Biden for his “catch and release” policy at the border and pledged to “put Florians first.”

Casey DeSantis drew the biggest ovation as her husband celebrated her work in “Florida’s Fight Against Cancer” — after battling breast cancer.

‘We will be strong. We hold the line. We won’t back down. And I can promise you this: you haven’t seen anything yet,’ he said.
