For many mothers, when their sons break up with their girlfriends, things can get pretty awkward.
But not for Victoria Beckham and Romeo’s ex-partner Mia Regan.
The fashion designer has vowed to continue working with the model, who split from Posh’s middle son earlier this month after a five-year on-off romance.
Victoria, 49, remains “very close” to Mia, who has been her muse for her fashion business for some time.
The model has worn her clothes and promoted them on social media, and sources close to the family say she will continue to do so.
One told the Mail: ‘Victoria absolutely adores Mia and is very sad that she and Romeo have split up.

“She understands, they are a young couple and of course they most likely won’t stay together forever, but she has her own relationship with Mia and the two women will continue to work together in the future.
‘They both love fashion and have had some ideas about what they can do together and that still stands. They have a very close bond and love working together, they are on the same page when it comes to fashion and what they like.
‘There is absolutely no awkwardness, everything is friendly. Even Romeo won’t mind, as he is a very old man; many young people would not be happy with a situation like that.’
In October 2022, Victoria and Mia, 21, who models for companies including H&M and Gucci, launched a denim collection together as part of the former Spice Girl’s VB fashion range.
However, it was released after Romeo, 21, and Mia broke up.
Victoria’s friends say she always shared a close relationship with Mia and that the two remained close during her fight with Nicola Peltz, wife of her eldest son, Brooklyn.
One of them said: “Victoria always appreciated Mia during that time, she had always dreamed that she would have great relationships with her children’s partners.” While things with Nicola were complicated back then, she and Mia were very close.

Adding to the pain, Posh is said to be “devastated” that her son Romeo, 21, announced his split from his model girlfriend Mia Regan, also 21, after five years.

It was revealed that the couple, who moved into a flat in south London together last year, split two weeks ago when they failed to post on Instagram about Valentine’s Day.
They began dating in 2017 before separating for a few months in 2022.
Confirming the split over the weekend, Romeo wrote on Instagram: “Mooch and I separated after five years of love, we still love and respect each other very much, and we still have a strong friendship and always will.” She also insisted that they remain friends, saying, “We are not [together] romantically, but we share a lot of love for each other… after five years we became friends hehe.’
She followed her statement with a series of red love hearts.
