Asked by guest host Ranvir, 43, Roman replied if they would ever put on their dancing shoes for Strictly: ‘One, I don’t know how ready my dad will ever be, given his dad’s dance steps and also, you know that what, the Kemps have terrible knees.

“This is no excuse, we have really bad knees and I think it would just be awful!”

The Capital Radio presenter then held up his medical shoe after his recent football injury and said, “I’m so vulnerable to injuries, I don’t think I’ll be able to.”

Referring to his radio job, he added, ‘I don’t think I can fully commit to it with my show!’

While Martin, who was in the Capital Radio studio with Roman, added, ‘I love the show, but I don’t think it’s going to be for me.’

Meanwhile, Roman doesn’t look like he’ll be dancing anytime soon as earlier this week he was spotted wearing crutches going to work at Capital FM after breaking a ligament in his foot.

The presenter appeared to be struggling to walk on the first day of lockdown relaxation while on his way to Global Radio Studios in London.

It comes after the former I’m A Celebrity Star hooked up with Emily Atack on Celebrity Juice last week.

It follows Emily making bold remarks about his father Martin Kemp, after host Keith Lemon suggested Roman court Emily, 31, after learning that Capital FM’s host was single.

Despite Emily’s claims that romance wasn’t on the map, as Roman calls her “ mate, ” Roman insisted it was down to snappy comments the Inbetweeners star had made about his famous father in the past.

‘I say that [mate] for everyone, ”Roman urged to Emily.

“Maybe it’s more because the last time I came here you said you wanted to kill my father. Maybe, ”he joked as Emily burst out laughing.

Keith had insisted that Roman and Emily “look good together.”

At that point, Emily sparked Roman’s side-splitting response by saying, “Roman doesn’t like me, and I’ll tell you why I know this because he calls me mate when he says goodbye.”
