A young man has died after a workplace accident in rural Queensland.
The 24-year-old man was found unconscious with life-threatening injuries at a business on Raglan Street in Roma, about 350 kilometres south of Toowoomba, at 2am on Friday.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Police will prepare a report for the coroner following the non-suspicious death of a 24-year-old man in Rome overnight,” police said in a statement.
‘Emergency services were initially called to the Raglan Street address shortly after 2am after the man was found unconscious and later pronounced dead.
‘Police are assisting the Department of Health and Safety at Work in their investigations.’
