Roger Daltrey leads Vicky McClure and Beyonce in donating items for the Teenage Cancer Trust auction
Roger Daltrey has led numerous stars in raiding their closets and donating items to be auctioned for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
77-year-old singer The Who donated a limited edition autographed can of Heinz baked beans, while 37-year-old Line of Duty Vicky McClure donated the only dress her character Kate Fleming has ever worn to the charity auction.
Other items up for grabs include a bag seared by Beyonce, 39, and her Destiny’s Child bandmates, as well as an amp with Queen guitarist Brian May’s signature.

Additionally, rare Stan Smith trainers belonging to former Oasis star Noel Gallagher, 53 and one of Sir Cliff ‘Richard’s shirts is also going up for auction.
Roger, who is an honorary patron of the Teenage Cancer Trust, encouraged fans to enter the auction, which includes more than 50 items.
He said: ‘Young people with cancer are especially at risk for the corona virus.
And right now, Teenage Cancer Trust-funded nurses and support teams are doing their best to provide the care they need at a time when healthcare is under tremendous pressure.

Vicky also praised the charity’s hard work and explained the meaning behind her donated item – one of Kate’s dresses.

She said, “I’m such a proud Teenage Cancer Trust ambassador that when I heard about the Star Boot Sale, I was happy to donate.
The dress I gave is the only one Kate Fleming has ever worn in Line Of Duty, when she received an award at the end of series three.
“So it’s really part of the show’s heritage.”
She added, ‘Teenage Cancer Trust nurses and youth teams are absolute heroes and have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic to support young people living with cancer.

Vicky’s dress coming up for auction comes after Line of Duty Sunday’s dramatic ending, which saw her character in a shootout with PC Ryan Pilkington.
