And as a member of one of the biggest fans of the era, this Scottish rocker would be instantly recognizable to any music fan of the era.

However, her new look would easily turn this into a challenge, as this iconic star has swapped her signature style for an entirely edgier look.

Having been known for his mohawk and baker boy caps in the past, the star replaced his look with bright orange hair and flashy glasses to coincide with the band’s release of new music and their return to the scene.

So can you guess this rocker?

It’s Travis’ frontman Fran Healy!

The Scottish rock group achieved their breakthrough success in the late 90s and early 2000s with their hit singles including Sing, Side, Flowers In The Window and Driftwood.

But fans of the group, who have two Brit Awards and have sold more than 10 million records, would not be blamed for not choosing Fran with her new look.

Travis has continued to make music and sell records since his heyday, and his new album LA Times will be released on July 12.

During a recent promotional interview, Fran talked about her previous style and even admitted that she thought David Beckham stole her look.

He alleged that David’s iconic mohawk haircut was inspired by his own appearance.

The professional footballer, 48, turned heads when he opted for the daring, daring look in 2001 and revealed the style to the world during the World Cup.

While people may think he was a trendsetter at the time, the singer has proven that he is not. He said: ‘I asked the guy who always cuts my hair, Pete, here at the cuts and he’s responsible for the fin, he was responsible for the, sort of, blonde.

Gordon said, ‘The mohawk?’ Fran added: “The mohawk that Beckham took and ran away with. Do you know how that happened? Gordon said, ‘No.’

Fran: ‘I met Beckham when I had that and he had the big Stookie on his leg. He and Posh Spice were leaving Toys R Us and I met him in the parking lot.

‘Swear by God. They walked out of that Toys R Us like they had won the jackpot at Crackerjack. Honest to God. I had never seen so many toys in my life and I had just gotten that cut and he was like, “Hey, buddy!”

“I’d never met him before and I thought, ‘Oh my God, how’s your foot?’ And you know, we chatted for a minute. Two weeks later, he got the cut and that was before the World Cup. But then he left. and this haircut became… Everyone had it.’

Gordon said: ‘What an amazing fame. Fran Healy was responsible for Beckham’s haircut.

He said: ‘We are totally frozen. It’s a total game of chance. It’s the industry’s saving grace right now, even (for) the really big acts, unless you’re Adele…

‘You play your song, if the radio stations like it then great, but if they don’t it might just disappear. It’s so random. There’s no point in wringing your panties.
