Brits have enjoyed the lockdown lightning, with many having flown to Portugal given its green list place.

And leading the way was Rod Stewart during a romantic vacation at the luxury park resort of Villa Vita in the Algarve, Portugal with his wife Penny Lancaster.

The music icon, 76, and his model wife, 50, rented a private jet to go to the exclusive resort, where they documented their travels on Instagram.

As a member of the Leading Hotels of The World resort, it offers guests a pampering and a never-ending experience.

He also managed to squeeze into a game of Scrabble in which he voiced the world of his beloved Celtic, adding, ‘Can’t get away from the pride of Glasgow’.
