Rochelle Humes has shared how she was forced to brand herself the ‘bad cop’ after ignoring husband Marvin and refusing their daughter Alaia-Mai, eight, to use TikTok.

In a new interview, the 32-year-old TV host shared how she is “definitely stricter” with the kids than her JLS star husband, 36, is.

Rochelle, who also shares Valentina, four- and eight-month-old Blake with Marvin, added that their two girls have father wrapped around their finger and get what they want simply by giving him an innocent look.

But the star put her foot down when it came to social media, going above and beyond her husband who had already given the green light for Alai to have a TikTok account.

She talked about the couple’s parenting, she told the Sweat, Snot and Tears podcastAlaia asked me for a Tik Tok account, and she’s eight and I say ‘No’. She only wanted it because her cousin has it and it was like, “oh, you know they do these dances” and I’m like “you can do the dances, but you don’t need Tik Tok.”

The former Saturday singer went on to discuss how the girls often try to play her and Marvin apart, forcing Rochelle to be the stricter parent.

Parenting: In a new interview, the TV host, 32, shared how she is “definitely stricter” with the kids than her JLS star husband, 36, is (pictured with daughters Valentina and Alaia)

She continued, “That’s the hardest thing for parents. I’m definitely stricter with the girls than he is. They literally just have to say “Daddy” and look at him once and they already have what they wanted.

“Then it’s like” Dad and I haven’t even caught up with this yet. I need to talk to Dad about it. And then it’s clear that mommy said no, but daddy said I could. That’s where the bad cop comes in.”

And despite previously sharing clips of her dance with Alaia on her own Instagram, Rochelle insisted she had no plans to turn her girls into social media stars and just wanted them to “live their best lives.”

She added that she and her co-star partner of The Hit List have “worked hard” to live a “fun way” but they don’t want their kids to think that “that’s life,” they still have to have ‘goals’ in life.
