Constitution Hill on the way home

Nicky Henderson has raised the possibility of Constitution Hill appearing at the Punchestown festival in early May.

Last season’s Champion Hurdler was forced to leave the Cheltenham Festival this month when he was found to be suffering from a respiratory infection.

Now blood tests have shown Constitution Hill is back to full health and Henderson, who was forced to withdraw several other contenders at the Festival, said: “You can understand, he’s not going to Aintree (for the Great National Meeting). but if he continues and his work progresses there is a possibility that he will go to Punchestown, which his owner Michael Buckley and I would like to do if possible.
