Although Robi Domingo didn’t expect Filipino fans to flock to him in Singapore, the TV host expressed his appreciation for giving him and his fiancée Maiqui Pineda a “warm welcome.”
“I wanted to get some hot bread at Orchard Road but got something better… a warm welcome from the Pinoys here,” the TV host said, posting photos of him surrounded by fellow Filipinos on his Instagram page on Tuesday, September 26 showed.

Through her Instagram Stories, Pineda also documented Domingo’s interactions with fans and showed off photos of when the couple finally arrived at their destination. Pineda also revealed that Domingo escaped from the crowd with the help of a guard.
“Someone decided to go to Lucky Plaza on Sunday,” Pineda said. “They all started coming towards him. I didn’t know what to do, so I just did this (take a selfie. Laugh out loud).”

Domingo and Pineda got engaged in 2022 after dating for four years.
The TV presenter gave a short tour of his bachelor pad in June, which he said he had let go in preparation for the construction of his new home with Pineda. He called the experience “bittersweet,” as this was his first major investment.
In an interview in August, Domingo said his wedding to Pineda, who has been diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease, will go ahead as planned despite her health condition. EDV
