Robert Irwin will join the cast of Sunrise as a guest meteorologist on Thursday.
The 19-year-old wildlife warrior will replace regular presenter and new dad Sam Mac, who will be on personal leave.
Robert seemed more than comfortable in the show’s preview to tease his appearance.
“A morning cookie awaits you,” Robert said in the ad.
Robert has served as a meteorologist before at Sunrise, which has caused a feud between him and Sam.

During the Channel 7 show the previous month, Sam took another swing at Robert as he jokingly feared the wildlife warrior was looking to take his job.
Sam did a hilarious dig while visiting Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World on the Sunshine Coast, giving the weather update.
Sam played with some of the birds and was proud of his skills after two large, colorful birds landed on his right arm.
Speaking to one of the staff, he said: ‘I don’t know if you’ve been keeping up with things, but Robert Irwin is trying to steal my job.

“But I feel like this almost beats Robert Irwin.”
Sunrise presenters Nat Barr and Matt Shirvington, who were watching the segment from Channel 7 studios, were amused by the comment but disagreed that their bird stunt was as impressive as Robert’s work.
Responding to his statement, Nat asked, ‘Do you believe?’ while Matt added: ‘Not quite crocodiles, right?’
Sunrise viewers have been jokingly calling for the late Steve Irwin’s son to take the meteorologist job.

Sam recently shared a hilarious photo on his Instagram showing a fan, Tara, holding a sign that read, “Robert Irwin 4 Weatherman.”
He posed with the smiling woman and pretended to be furious at her demand as she put an arm around him and proudly displayed her sign.
Sam wrote in the caption next to the comic photo: ‘Thank you Tara. #Justice.’
The friends have been taking friendly blows at each other over the coveted position, with the conflict coming to a head only a few weeks ago.
The playful feud began in July of last year when Robert (pictured) filled in for meteorologist Sam, 41, while he was on personal leave.
Sam took a cheeky jab at Robert last month when they had a chat on The Morning Show.
When Robert opened up about his dangerously close encounter with a python in a recent video, he revealed that Sam has also had “a few close encounters” with the snakes at the Australia Zoo.
Sam didn’t hold back as he replied, ‘The only snake I’ve ever run into with Robert was you, when you tried to take my job in Sunrise weather.’
Robert laughed off the jab but kept the spat friendly by saying he still hopes to replace him on Channel Seven’s breakfast show.
“You were a snake in the grass that day,” he added.
