Robert Irwin has confessed that he is not a big coffee drinker and only had his “first cup” recently.
The 20-year-old co-hosted The Sunday Project this weekend and made the confession during a chat about the caffeinated drink.
“I recently had my first cup of coffee and I didn’t like it at all,” Robert said, much to the surprise of his fellow cast members.
While chatting to singer Budjerah, who also said his first coffee hadn’t gone down well, Robert admitted he was happy to give the popular drink another try.
“I feel like we need to catch up over coffee, I need to convert to the world of coffee,” Robert said.
The Project’s guest host Rachel Corbett then joked that the two lads could bond over a “warm cup of milk.”
Robert documented his first cup of coffee in a video on social media last year.
The conservationist posted a clip on Instagram capturing him making a coffee while working a shift at the Crikey Café at Australia Zoo on the Sunshine Coast.

Robert then looked nervous as he prepared to take his first sip of the drink.
“It’s the first time I’ve had coffee… I love it,” he says hesitantly, with a look of astonishment.

Many of Robert’s fans quickly went crazy over the hilarious pictures.
“I’m more nervous making the skimmer than feeding the crocodiles,” one fan joked in the comments.
Meanwhile, another added: “Haha, the “I love it” while his face clearly says otherwise.”
Robert has just returned from a luxurious week-long trip to Singapore with his loving family, including his sister Bindi Irwin.
The Irwin brothers took to Instagram to share details of their trip with their conservationist mother Terri, 60.
The family was also joined by Bindi’s husband, Chandler Powell, their two-year-old daughter Grace, and Chandler’s parents, Chris and Shannan Powell, for the trip.
