Robert Irwin is moving to Perth to live with his girlfriend Rorie Buckey, according to a new report.
The 19-year-old wildlife star wants to explore his relationship with Rorie, also 19, but she currently resides in Perth while she finishes her studies while he continues to work at his family’s world-famous Australia Zoo.
The couple are said to find the long distances and travel between Western Australia and Queensland “hellish”.
“It’s a real pain,” said a source Women’s Day.
“Just when they really want to explore their relationship, they have this hellish distance between them,” they added.

“Rorie is stuck in Perth with her studies, so the logical solution is for Robert to move there, at least for a while, and his parents insist he stay with them.”
Rorie’s family has been more than welcoming to Robert, and his parents are apparently delighted that the pair are the perfect match.
“They are a very close team, and if Robert is willing to make the sacrifice of moving to the big city for his daughter, they will do everything they can to make it work,” the source added.
While mom Terri is reportedly concerned the couple is moving “too fast,” she’s reportedly open to the idea.
According to the magazine, Terri knows that Robert is in “good hands” and is interested in meeting Rorie’s parents if their son decides to move to Western Australia.
The family matriarch invited the Buckeys to the Australia Zoo for Christmas to spend time with her, Bindi and Chandler Powell.
Robert and Rorie made their Sydney red carpet debut for the Mission Impossible premiere in Sydney last month.

Bride Rorie looked sensational in an asymmetrical black maxi dress that featured one sleeve and one shoulder detailing.
At one point, Robert tenderly wrapped his arms around Rorie as they seemed to share a joke and giggle.
Their outing comes after news broke that Robert reportedly plans to pop the question to Rorie after several months of dating.

According to New Idea magazine, protective mom Terri worries that her lovesick son and his lovesick bride are running down the aisle too soon.
“Terri feels that Robert is moving too fast,” a source told the publication.
“Rorie is a sweetheart and it’s easy to see why he’s absolutely smitten, but Terri knows the stakes are high,” they added.
The publication also claimed that Robert is a “romantic” hoping to emulate his mother’s quick engagement to her late husband Steve after just eight months of dating in 1992.
