Robert De Niro doesn’t let age stop him from unleashing his inner recklessness.
The Taxi Driver actor celebrates his 81st birthday today and his daughter, Drena De Niro, 56, shared some photos of her dad in honor of his big day.
The first showed him in a red and blue striped swimsuit jumping from a yacht.
The second was a short video revealing its impact with water.
“Happy 81st birthday to my dad and #1 in race or die… I love you with all my #BobbyD forever,” she captioned the carousel of photos, adding a crown emoji.

In the other snapshots, Drena shared photos of her father with her late son Leandro at various moments in his life.
Leandro was found dead by a friend on July 2, 2023, sitting in a chair in his New York City apartment at age 19.
Her death was ruled an accident, caused by a “toxic” combination of illicit drugs including fentanyl, bromazolam, alprazolam, 7-aminoclonazepam, ketamine and cocaine.
Meanwhile, De Niro’s youngest daughter Gia recently turned one. He shares the little one with his girlfriend Tiffany Chen, 45.
The Goodfellas star reflected on becoming a father again at 80 years old with AARP Magazine.
“I’m an 80-year-old father and it’s great,” he told the outlet in January.
“Everything that worries me or consumes me, or this or that, just disappears when I look at Gia. That, in itself, is wonderful.”
De Niro intends for Gia to be bilingual in English and Chinese, he revealed in an interview with Rolling Stone in December 2023.
“She’s half Chinese. I want to try to teach her Chinese and teach her children’s songs in English and Chinese,” he told the outlet. “I’m trying to get her to learn both.”

Drena also shared photos of her father over the years with his late son Leandro.
The teenager was found dead on July 2, 2023 at the age of 19 from a toxic combination of drugs.
Meanwhile, De Niro’s youngest daughter Gia recently turned one. He shares the little one with his girlfriend Tiffany Chen, 45.

And for Gia’s first birthday in March, the Academy Award winner revealed that the little one liked a little bit of cake.
“Well, she’s pure joy,” De Niro said. AND.
“There’s nothing in her, there’s no judgment, there’s nothing, she just is what she is, and it’s pure joy, for God’s sake,” he gushed.
The acting legend is also a father to six other children: children Drena, 56, and Raphael De Niro, 47, whom he shares with ex-wife Diahnne Abbott; twin sons Julian De Niro and Aaron De Niro, 28, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Toukie Smith; and Elliot De Niro, 16, and Helen Grace De Niro, 12, whom he shares with ex-wife Grace Hightower.
