Robert De Niro launched another foul-mouthed tirade about Donald Trump on Bill Maher’s talk show, saying the former president’s supporters want to “fuck with people.”
The 80-year-old acting icon slammed Trump as a “total monster” during her appearance on Friday night’s edition of HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher.
He is such a mean, nasty, hateful person. I would never play him as an actor because I don’t see anything good in him. Nothing. Nothing at all. There’s nothing redeemable about him,” De Niro said.
The Academy Award-winning actor also took aim at supporters of the 2024 Republican candidate, referring to them as those who “like to fuck with people.”
De Niro has criticized Trump mercilessly for years since he stepped up his public criticism before the 2016 presidential election.
Robert De Niro went on another foul-mouthed rant about Donald Trump on Bill Maher’s talk show, saying the former president’s supporters want to “fuck with people.”
De Niro has mercilessly attacked Trump (pictured March 2) for years, ever since he stepped up his public criticism before the 2016 presidential election.
During the show that aired Friday, Maher asked De Niro what he thought about Trump’s lead in election polls and said, “So why is Trump winning?” What do you attribute that to?’
The 68-year-old host added: ‘I mean, the New York Times poll came out this week, and maybe this will change with the State of the Union address.
But Trump was gaining on him quite a bit. It was quite a warning light, 48 to 43, plus they won much more among women – women! – than before winning the Latinos.’
De Niro simply responded, “I don’t know,” before reflecting on Trump’s 2016 victory and sounding the alarm about his potential new term.
‘I just don’t want to feel the way I felt. And many, many of us don’t. “After the 2016 election, where we couldn’t believe what happened.”
And we have to do it. And whoever the people are who want to vote for him and… seem like smart people in all of this…
‘It just can’t be. It just can’t be. If he wins the election, you will no longer be on this program. He will come to find me. (He There will be) things that will happen that none of us can imagine.
‘That’s what happens in that type of dictatorship, that’s what he says (wants). Let’s believe him. Believe him at his word.

The Academy Award-winning actor took aim at supporters of the 2024 Republican candidate, referring to them as those who “like to fuck with people.”
He also directed his criticism at Trump supporters, saying he cannot understand or empathize with them.
‘I don’t understand. Yeah, I guess they’re behind that kind of logic. “They want to screw people, screw them because they are not happy with some.”
De Niro didn’t stop there, continuing: “He is an evil, psychopathic, sociopathic narcissist. He is a dangerous person.
‘We have two people. We have a lot of people, this audience. But the people who somehow think that he will be the answer to his prayers, whatever they are.
The two-time Academy Award winner has been outspoken in his criticism of the former president, with the most notable incident occurring in 2018 when he exclaimed ‘f**k Trump’ twice on stage at the Tony Awards.
He received a standing ovation when he said, “It’s not ‘down with Trump’ anymore, it’s screw Trump.”

After the GOP primaries were held on Super Tuesday, Trump (pictured in January) is now the last major Republican candidate standing and is set to be the party’s nominee for the third time.
And in November of last year, he claimed onstage at the Gotham Awards that he had originally planned to include several scathing comments about Trump, but his speech was cut short.
He said: ‘I just want to say one thing. The beginning of my speech was edited, cut and I didn’t know it. And I want to read it.
But he still came back and said: ‘The former president lied to us more than 30,000 times during his four years in office. And he is keeping up the pace of his current retaliation campaign.
‘But in all his lies, he cannot hide his soul. He attacks the weak, destroys the gifts of nature and shows disrespect, for example, using Pocahontas as an insult.’
