Ahead of Father’s Day, Robert De Niro opened up about his kids with People at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York on Saturday.
The 79-year-old actor attended a screening of his 1993 film A Bronx Tale and told the outlet that his six older children have yet to meet his 2-month-old daughter, Gia Virginia.
He shares the newborn baby girl with his girlfriend Tiffany Chen, whom he has been linked to since the summer of 2021.
When asked if his children – Drena, 51, Raphael, 46, twins Julian and Aaron, 27, Elliot, 24, and Helen, 11 – have met the child, De Niro replied: “Not yet, but they will.”
And for the upcoming holidays, the Goodfellas star said he was “just going to spend it with the kids and stuff”.

Chazz Palminteri, De Niro’s former co-star, gushed at the outlet: ‘Oh, I saw the baby. Beautiful baby.’
And his other former co-star Katharine Narducci noted that while she hasn’t met his newest addition, De Niro is “an amazing father” and “a wonderful person”.
She explained, “I saw him with his kids, and I know his daughter Drena, and they have a great relationship.”
“And I think he’s a great guy, you know, a great dad, a great person — a great human being,” the actress added.
It comes after the longtime entertainer shared a glimpse of her seventh child during an appearance on CBS Mornings in May.
Gia was welcomed by her parents on April 6 and weighed 8 pounds and 6 ounces.
The actor’s first two children are from his marriage to Diahnne Abbott. He then welcomed twins with girlfriend Toukie Smith.
Elliot and Helen are shared with ex-wife Grace Hightower – the two married in 1997 and separated in 2018.

Chat: The Hollywood luminary spoke to a reporter during the star screening on Saturday
On the Today show to promote the Tribeca festival, he talked about his newborn daughter and mentioned his close friend, Al Pacino.
“Look, Al Pacino just had a baby, I was told yesterday morning, and he’s a few years older than me. God bless him, very happy for him,” he said.
Robert also gushed about raising a newborn again, saying, “It’s been awesome.”
On how he’s changed as a father, the star told host Hoda Kotb: “I have a certain awareness – when you’re older you have an awareness of certain things in life, the dynamics, everything, the family dynamics.”
The Goodfellas actor added: ‘You can’t avoid learning certain things and how you can deal with them and deal with them and this and that as usual.
“It’s unbelievable, but I’m very happy about it.”
Shortly after news of his new addition to the family broke, the actor said Page 6 that the welcoming of her seventh child was ‘planned’ and questioned ‘How could you not have planned this kind of thing?’

Before the screening, he talked about it to Additional as he said, ‘I’m really looking forward to it, especially at the Beacon Theatre…the audience…can’t wait.’
Last month he attended the 76th Cannes Film Festival for the premiere of Martin Scorsese’s crime drama Killers Of The Flower Moon, in which he stars.
The film, which also stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Lily Gladstone, Brendan Fraser and Jesse Plemons, received a nine-minute standing ovation after the screening.
