Robbie Williams has revealed that his father Pete has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
The singer, 46, who is currently isolating in Los Angeles while his father is in the UK, admitted to battling ‘fear and panic’ over his father’s diagnosis.
To talk with The mirror, the X Factor judge, revealed that his wife’s mother Ayda Field also suffers from a “major illness” after having had Parkinson’s and lupus.

He said, “We have a lot of family problems right now. My father has Parkinson’s disease, my mother-in-law whom I love very much has a very big disease. We cannot reach them. My father is thousands of miles away. ‘
Robbie added, “My mom is just 80 years old and she is isolated and I can see things spinning in her head and her eyes going.”
The hitmaker said difficult times were causing “anxiety and panic,” and said recent concerns worried that he might suffer from depression and drinking and drug problems as in the past.
He said, “At the beginning of the closing I noticed that I was getting scared. But the difference between me now and the person I was … I saw it, thought “That’s interesting – tomorrow will be different”. And it was. “

A source close to Pete told the publication that he is in good health and has sung at all of Robbie’s recent shows, including one in January.

Ayda revealed that Robbie was hauling after sharing a video of the hitmaker serenading her outside their mansion.
Ayda admitted they were closest when she filmed Robbie, who had jumped onto their porch.
