Robbie Williams apologizes for Jane Seymour for years after PRETENDED that her castle was his on MTV Cribs
Robbie Williams has admitted in the past that his appearance on MTV Cribs in the early 1990s was a bit misleading after borrowing a castle from actress Jane Seymour and passing it on as his own.
And now the 46-year-old singer has apologized to the 69-year-old Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman star, 23 years later.
“We didn’t allow it [Jane] know I would pretend it was my house, “he told an American radio station this week. “And because I was 23 and full of spunk, I didn’t even think about other people’s thoughts or feelings.
Better late than never: Robbie Williams gave Jane Seymour a public apology for 23 YEARS after borrowing her castle and PRETENDED it was his on MTV Cribs in the 2000s
“So I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to Jane Seymour.”
He added, “There are so many castles in England!”
During the show – in which celebrities invite cameras into their opulent homes to show off the fruits of their work – Robbie pretended to own the property – St Catherine’s Court in Bath.
He even had waiters serve him to give an extra sense of luxury and wealth.
Located in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, near Bath, in Somerset, St Catherine’s Court was the subject of controversy in 2007 when residents of the picturesque St Catherine’s Valley close to the property were left furiously over the house, that former Bond girl Jane Seymour bought in 1984 and got a 24-hour entertainment license.
They claimed the area was devastated by traffic and nighttime parties.

He added: “So I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to Jane Seymour.”
Robbie later appeared on Cribs, but this time showed his real home.
He now lives with wife Ayda Field and their four children in London’s Holland Park, including the Beckhams nearby. Their home would be worth a whopping £ 17.5 million.
Robbie and Ayda are the parents of seven-year-old Theodora, five-year-old Charlton, 18-month-old Colette and one-month-old Beau.
Robbie spent three weeks in quarantine because of the coronavirus pandemic and was reunited separately with his family on Saturday after 21 days at their second home in Los Angeles.
The singer lovingly hugged daughter Theodora and Charlton in the video after walking up the driveway to greet Hikm, with Ayda, 40, sharing the heartwarming moment on Instagram.

The pair then joked that Ayda’s ‘co-dependent mother’ Gwen was trying to get involved in their romantic moment as Robbie led her back inside.
Ayda explained, ‘So we’re just social distance right now, a lot of people have asked what social distance is and I looked it up …
“And it’s just staying away from bars, restaurants and clubs and your own husband when he’s been to Australia by plane and airport.”
But Robbie reassured fans, “The good news is that I don’t feel so bad, I’ve been told if you can hold your breath for 10 seconds and not cough!”
Although Ayda subsequently agreed to meet Robbie in the yard, she insisted that he cannot get through the house.
