The father of three initially told the police that he would have forced the couple out of the car and would have silenced the woman if they had not been so old.
Hutchinson was put off with an Intensive Corrections Order because his blow had led to a minor injury.
He was sentenced and sentenced to nine months in prison, suspended, the Queensland Times reported.
