Beloved British hip hop duo Rizzle Kicks have confirmed they will be reuniting with a hilarious announcement clip starring comedic actor Kiell Smith-Bynoe.
Jordan ‘Rizzle’ Stephens and Harley ‘Sylvester’ Alexander-Sule rose to fame in 2011 with the release of their instantly successful debut single Down with the Trumpets.
The pair went their separate ways after the release of Slurp! in 2016, but have now revealed they will be making a comeback together.
Announcing their return, Jordan and Harley shared a hilarious skit of Ghosts actor Kiell discovering the news during a therapy session.
As he pours his heart out during the session, Kiell’s distracted therapist seems to ignore him as she’s engrossed in her notebook, which reads: “Rizzle Kicks are back.”

Announcing their return, Jordan and Harley shared a hilarious skit of Ghosts actor Kiell discovering the news during a therapy session.
The clip, shared on X, formerly Twitter, begins with Kiell lying on a couch as his therapist Theresa stares at his notebook.
“I feel like I’m doing the same things over and over again,” she says. “I keep trying. I get the same results, but I keep trying.”
The sound then becomes muffled to suggest the therapist is not listening as Kiell continues: “I mean, isn’t that the definition of insanity? You keep trying when it just doesn’t work.
“And I guess I just feel really lost. It’s really hard to know where to go next. You know?”
“Hm?” the therapist asks, before Kiell calls her by her name “Theresa” to get her attention.
“Yes, yes, I agree,” Theresa replies. “With which part?” Kiell asks, to which she replies: “With what you just said.”
“Because I know you write a lot but I don’t know if you’re really listening,” he says.
“What are you writing?” Kiell asks, before Theresa hides her notebook and answers, “Just very important notes.”

Kiell looks suspicious before Theresa shows him her notes and says, “Actually, this might be useful.”
He stares at the notebook as Theresa smiles, before the camera pans to the page where “Rizzle Kicks are back” is written. The song Hallelujah plays during the clip.
The video shows Kiell walking out of the therapist’s office shouting “Rizzle Kicks are back” while flashing a big smile, before jumping up and down and clicking her heels in joy.

Just an hour earlier, the band had teased the clip with an image of a London phone booth emblazoned with the words: ‘Rizzle Kicks are back’.
To accompany the photo, the band’s account wrote: ‘The sun is out, it might be Rizzle Kicks weather.’
Sharing an update on Instagram on Thursday, Jordan and Harley were seen listening to Down with the Trumpets before placing a new cassette tape into a stereo.
“We’re back,” they captioned the clip.

Talking about their reunion on his podcast, The red carpet treatmentJordan said: ‘I think our music has aged really well and I think we, this is my guess, look back at a time in British history, 2012, which was pretty optimistic.
“We had the Olympics, before Covid, before Brexit, before Trump, people lived their lives.”
Rizzle Kicks have released two albums, Stereo Typical in 2011 followed by Roaring 20s in 2013.
The duo had the number one song Heart Skips A Beat, also featuring Olly Murs, along with other hits including When I Was A Youngster, Mama Do The Hump and Down With The Trumpets.
Since 2016, Jordan has released music under the stage names Wildhood and Al, the Native.
Earlier this year, the musician opened up about surviving “self-harm and heartbreak” in a candid new book, after finding love with Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall.
Rizzle Kicks will reunite with the duo and this week they announced that they hope to bring some optimism to 2024.

Jordan said the book, titled “Avoidance, Drugs, Heartbreak and Dogs,” was “the hardest thing I’ve ever done.”
It will follow the Rizzle Kicks star’s rise to fame as she battled “brutal patterns of self-harm and destructive coping mechanisms” behind the scenes.
The book’s television rights have already been sold to production company Watford & Essex, best known for producing The White Queen and Life on Mars.
