Rita recently revealed what it was like working on her latest movie clip with her celebrity director husband Taika.
She appeared on The Project on Monday and discussed the movie clip for her new track.
Taika directed the funky clip saying the pair made a formidable collaborative team.
‘It was a creative discussion at first and I said ‘well can you do it? ‘ and he said ‘ok cool’ and it was just so natural and everything was super easy,” she said.
Rita explained that the creative process was “easier” with someone she feels so comfortable with on set.
“It really helps when you feel so comfortable with someone. You know to be yourself. And he pushes me and I get inspired by that,” he said.
Rita previously spoke about her collaboration with her husband on Heart FM in April.
She admitted she was warned about it, explaining, “Everyone said, ‘Don’t do it, don’t work with the ones you love, it never works’, and I thought, why not?”
Rita continued, “You know what, I really respect him, I really admire his creative contribution and we came up with a fun, not serious video, kind of like the original, just like a random dance party, that’s what this is.’
In the video, Rita is late for an open dance audition, where she rushes to change clothes before joining her fellow dancers on the floor.

Rita and her dancers then performed their routine in front of Fatboy Slim himself, who initially seemed deeply impressed before discovering their talents.
Rita confirmed in January that she and the director of Thor: Love and Thunder had tied the knot.
Speaking to Heart Radio Breakfast, she confessed that the marriage was “perfect” and a “special day” for the couple.
Rita said, “Yes (I’m married). I’m officially off the market folks. I’ve chosen to keep it more private and more to myself, but with my new video I’m playing on what could have been.”
She continued, “When the rumors came out, it’s her, isn’t it? I wanted to play on it. I wanted to do a wedding that didn’t go according to plan…that doesn’t mean it actually happened.”
Gushing about the big day, Rita said, “It was perfect. It was exactly, exactly as I wanted.’
