Speaking about the release, Rita said: With You Only Love Me and my upcoming album, I wanted to capture the vulnerability I faced as I opened myself up to love and entered a new phase of life.
Learning to let go of the past to make room for new experiences is a very personal process, and I felt compelled to document it through my music – the journey wasn’t always easy, but I came out of it stronger and full of more love than I ever thought possible.
You Only Love Me was the first track lifted from the world-famous singer-songwriter’s highly anticipated upcoming album – a deeply personal body of work intimately connected to a new chapter in Ora’s life and career.
It was also Rita’s first release since entering into a partnership with BMG, who would see all of her future master recordings and have artistic control in a way she hadn’t before.

Speaking of the potential name change, she admitted: ‘I definitely considered taking his surname but I worked really hard for this Ora name. I don’t know… I haven’t really decided yet.
