Footage has emerged from the North London Derby showing police officers clashing with fans outside the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

Arsenal emerged from the clash against their bitter rivals with all three points after surviving a stunning second-half comeback from the hosts, with the Gunners eventually winning 3-2.

Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz scored for the visitors following a Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg own goal, and although Cristian Romero and Son Heung-min scored in a frenetic second half, Mikel Arteta’s side held firm.

As a result, the Gunners finish the weekend at the top of the Premier League, while also claiming back-to-back wins at Tottenham in the league for the first time in 36 years.

However, ugly scenes from the match have since emerged with cameras capturing the moment fans appeared to clash with police outside the pitch.

Arsenal won the match 3-2 after holding off a second-half fightback from Tottenham to regain the three points at Seven Sisters Road.

The video shows a large group of police officers fighting with fans, and some of them are visibly dragged along the ground by several bodies.

Another appears to be pushed to the ground before being repeatedly punched by officers, who were wearing riot helmets and high-visibility jackets.

When another intervenes, apparently with the intention of helping the other supporter, he appears to be dragged away.

During the off-field conflict, spectators can see projectiles and drinks thrown at police officers.

Another clip was posted on TikTok showing several home fans inside the field watching a conflict between police officers and a large group of fans.

It is unclear whether the two clips are from the same incident at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

There have been reports that away fans found their way onto the home ground for the clash between the bitter local rivals.

An Arsenal supporter was seen full time in the local area revealing his Arsenal shirt as the players came up to celebrate their big win.

In an interview after the match, he explained that he had not realized that he had bought a ticket for the wrong part of the stadium, having traveled by plane from Australia to see his beloved team play.

There is a lot of tension between the two local rivalries, who have long been historic enemies, with both sides regularly insulting players on the field.

In last season’s clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, a fan kicked Aaron Ramsdale in the back before hastily leaving.

At full time of the 2-0 win, Ramsdale returned to the Spurs fans to collect his water bottle before a fan came down from the stands and appeared to kick the goalkeeper.

The fan, later identified as Joseph Watts from Hackney, was charged by police and pleaded guilty to assaulting the Arsenal goalkeeper.
