- The winger probably seemed to continue last year, but a deal was not made

- Ferdinand thinks he wants to have another chance at success at a larger club
Rio Ferdinand believes that Wilfried Zaha will finally leave Crystal Palace for a bigger club this summer, emphasizing that the winger wants to test himself again at the highest level.
Zaha was the subject of Arsenal’s interest last summer, but one move failed and he has proved to be the star player of Palace this season, helping Roy Hodgson’s side fly safely.
In an exclusive interview with Sports email Last year, Zaha made no secret of his desire to leave Selhurst Park prior to the current campaign.
Rio Ferdinand says that Wilfried Zaha will finally leave Crystal Palace for a bigger club this summer
Rio Ferdinand believes that the old club Manchester United would benefit from Raul Jimenez
But moves to Arsenal and Everton broke down due to Palace’s £ 80 million asking price, much to Zaha’s frustration.
Speaking of BT Sport, Ferdinand believes this summer could be the time for Zaha to go and claims he wants another crack at a big club after failing to impress during his brief stint with Manchester United.
The former England defender said, “I think he’s ready to go now. Crystal Palace fans and the people in the club will not thank me for saying that.
“He had a taste when he went to Manchester United, but it didn’t quite work out for a number of reasons, but he has shown in recent seasons that he is a go-to guy.
“I’ve always said that 1v1 is one of the top three players (in the Premier League) when it comes to dribbling and wanting to beat someone to get a shot at goal. He is fantastic in that respect.
“His number is not as good as the previous one this season, but I think the stuffing was knocked out of him when he was linked to Arsenal, but nothing came through.
“I think he will maneuver a way out of the club this season. If you were in his position wouldn’t you want to see what you could do at a bigger club? ‘
Zaha was the subject of Arsenal’s interest last summer, but a move failed to materialize
Despite only four goals and five assists this season, clubs at home and across the continent are expected to return for Zaha this summer.
Everton, it is believed, remains interested in the attacker; while Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich are known to monitor Zaha’s situation in the transfer window.
Sports email understands that Newcastle is also keeping an eye on Zaha, although every move will likely depend on their lengthy takeover.
It remains to be seen whether Palace is willing to sell the 27-year-old, given the financial constraints caused by the corona virus pandemic.
If open to offers, Palace’s valuation will almost certainly be the crucial factor in whether Zaha, who remains open to a new challenge, is leaving South London.
