Riley Keough was spotted in Calabasas, California, on Thursday.

It was the day before a Missouri woman was charged with trying to extort money from her late mother, Lisa Marie Presley.

The Max Max: Fury Road actress, 35, looked sombre as she sat on a bench alongside her husband Ben Smith-Petersen and their two-year-old daughter Tupelo.

Dressed in a simple white T-shirt and black cycling shorts, Elvis Presley’s granddaughter sat barefoot, biting her lip as she sat on the bench.

The star kept a low profile, sporting a green baseball cap covering her face and a pair of designer sunglasses, while her stuntman husband played with their adorable baby boy.

The outing came hours before a 53-year-old woman was charged with orchestrating a wide-ranging scheme to extort money from Elvis’ family and steal their iconic Graceland home.

The suspect, named as Lisa Jeanine Findley, 53, was charged by prosecutors on Friday with mail fraud and aggravated identity theft.

Authorities said Findley has a long history of scams and fraud, and is known to use several aliases, including Lisa Holden.

She allegedly linked herself to the home through fake identities, post office boxes and phone numbers, and was caught Friday morning by “at least 15 police officers” who descended on her Kimberling City home, according to reports. NBC News.

The plot was reportedly first put on investigators’ radar in May, after a company called Naussany Investments claimed in court that Lisa Marie Presley owed millions of dollars in unpaid loans.

The claim sparked controversy after Lisa Marie, Elvis’ only daughter, died in January 2023, prompting the company to lobby Presley’s surviving relatives for reimbursement.

As Presley’s family refused to repay the loans, Naussany Investments attempted to force a foreclosure sale of Graceland, a move that was quickly stopped by the Tennessee courts.

Lisa Marie’s eldest daughter and heir, Riley, became the sole trustee of the Promenade Trust protecting the assets of Elvis’s estate after her mother’s death, and filed a countersuit alleging fraud.

In her lawsuit, she alleged that her late mother had never obtained a loan from Naussany Investments and that Lisa Marie’s signature had been forged.

After a Tennessee judge ruled that Naussany Investments had indeed forged the signature, it emerged that a person behind the company claimed to be a Nigerian scammer.

According to NBC News, Findley was linked to the Graceland plot in June, when she denied any knowledge of the allegations.

Findley is due to appear Friday in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, where she will be charged with masterminding the scheme to force the sale of Graceland and make millions.

It was reported that when investigators looked into Naussany Investments, they found that there were no records or evidence that the company ever existed.

Following the bizarre legal battle involving the alleged Nigerian scam scheme, Findley connected with the company through a Facebook profile using the same name as the company.

When NBC News claimed to have made the connection in June, they said a former acquaintance of Findley’s, Rasheed Jeremy Carballo, told the outlet that she had shared details of an alleged plot to rob Presley’s home.

In late July, Riley revealed plans to embark on a book tour in support of Lisa Marie’s memoir, From Here to the Great Unknown.

Riley played a key role in completing the book following her mother’s passing in January 2023 at the age of 54.

“Sometimes the most famous among us are the least known. Join @RileyKeough for a unique conversation as she honors the incredible memory of her mother, Lisa Marie Presley, with the release of her memoir, From Here to the Great Unknown,” Random House said in a statement.
