Rihanna has announced that she is stepping down as CEO of her lingerie brand Savage X Fenty.
“It has been wonderful to see how our vision for Savage X Fenty has impacted the industry on such an incredible scale over the past five years,” the award-winning singer and business mogul shared in a statement to Vogue affairs. Rihanna, who co-owns the company with investors including LVMH, has been CEO since she founded it in 2018.
Her statement continued, “This is just the beginning for us, and we will continue to expand in ways that always resonate with consumers.”
Rihanna said Hillary Super, former CEO of Anthropologie Group, will take over as head of the brand effective June 26. said singer. “She is a strong leader and is focused on taking the company to the next level.”
Prior to Savage X Fenty, Super was the global CEO of Anthropologie Group for four years. She also previously held executive positions at Guess, American Eagle, Gap, and Old Navy.
