Rihanna is the new face of Dior’s J’adore fragrance, it was announced Tuesday. The first announcement of her comes out on September 1.
The 36-year-old singer shared the news on Instagram with a picture of herself wearing black sunglasses while writing in her caption: “The secret.”
This comes after 48-year-old Hollywood blonde bombshell Charlize Theron held the position for two decades.
“Being the new face of J’Adore is both an honor and a mission,” the Diamonds singer shared in a statement.
‘This scent that I have known and loved for so long means a lot to women.
“I am especially looking forward to joining this adventure and contributing to it through my world, my history, my roots, as well as my creativity and my own femininity.”

“Its golden dream promises to be unique, reflecting a fragrance that is present for women and retains its radiance.”
J’Adore debuted in 1999 and became Dior’s best seller.
Rihanna’s first J’Adore campaign will debut on September 1 and will be shot by famed photographer Steven Klein.
This announcement comes following the news that Rihanna is ‘starting over’ with her ninth album.
The Umbrella hitmaker hasn’t released an LP since 2016’s Anti, but now she’s finally ready to get back in the studio again.
She plans to listen back to the music she’s worked on over the past few years and decide if any of it is still relevant or interesting to her.
She told Entertainment Tonight: “I think music, for me, is a new discovery.” I’m rediscovering things. I’ve been working on the album for so long that I put all that aside and now I’m ready to get back into the studio. I’m going to start, give me a second!
