Rideshare driver allegedly caught performing a sex act with two female passengers in the car

A young Australian woman claimed she woke up mid-rideshare to discover her driver was allegedly performing a sex act in the car.

At one point during the 40-minute trip, her friend saw what the driver was supposedly doing and began recording from the back seat.

However, he did not wake up his friends for fear that they would be thrown out of the car.

‘The driver was touching himself while looking at me… Absolutely disgusting. It’s terrible. It’s wrong in so many ways,” Ms. Nasalio said. 7news.

“I would have hit him. Honestly, I would have kicked him out of his own car. Go to hell, honestly. I sincerely wish you the worst. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to forgive him.

“I will never get on a DiDi again.”

Detectives from the Victorian Sexual Crimes Squad arrested the driver on Friday.

DiDi reportedly suspended the driver while they conducted internal investigations into the report before proceeding to ban him from the platform.

A spokesperson said the driver had been reported to Safe Transport Victoria.

“The behavior demonstrated was inappropriate and contrary to the values ​​and standards of the platform,” they said.

It comes amid growing calls to require security cameras in rideshare cabins; however, there is no legal requirement for drivers to do so.
