A soldier serving in the Australian Defense Force has been injured in a horrific parachute accident.
The incident took place during a training drill at a RAAF base in Richmond, about 50 kilometers northwest of Sydney, on Wednesday night.
The Australian Defense Force confirmed the soldier was injured during a “routine training activity”.

Paramedics took the soldier to hospital in an ambulance after first aid was provided at the scene.
The extent of the injuries suffered by the soldier and his current condition after his admission to the hospital are still unknown.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted the Australian Defense Force and NSW Health for comment.
The injured soldier was rushed to hospital by paramedics (pictured) overnight and the extent of the soldier’s injuries is unknown at this time.
