Richard Keys accused Pep Guardiola of treating a journalist “like a piece of s**t” following Manchester City’s draw against Liverpool on Sunday.

Guardiola’s team took a point after the exciting clash at Anfield, where an Alexis Mac Allister penalty canceled out John Stones’ first-half goal.

The City manager would have been disappointed if they had gone away without a win and apparently, according to Keys, he made that clear during a post-match interview.

on your blogKeys claimed Guardiola acted as a “disgrace” towards beIN Sports journalist Andy Kerr following the clash at Anfield.

Keys wrote: ‘What’s wrong with this guy? Guardiola was simply rude to our reporter, the excellent Andy Kerr. If it had been Kerr, he would have closed the interview and walked away. And I told him later.

“Guardiola was a disgrace. He couldn’t be bothered. He offered nothing: just one-word answers and a silly smile. He looked at Kerr like he was a piece of shit in his shoe. He did the same thing last week. In fact, he does Same thing most weeks.

“Guardiola only talks to journalists because he is hired to do so. He made his feelings towards us known at a press conference last week.

—But here’s the thing, Mr. Guardiola. We’re all trying to do a job, just like you. No one, while doing that job, deserves to be ridiculed by you.

“Andy Kerr deserved a better Sunday, not because you have a contractual obligation to speak to him, but because you have a moral obligation to treat him and others with good manners and respect.”

Keys referenced Guardiola’s outburst during a recent post-match press conference, where he blatantly mocked reporters.

Speaking after City’s victory over Brentford last month, Guardiola said: “I’m a manager. My life is better than yours. But nothing personal with you.

Guardiola also reflected on his decision to replace Kevin De Bruyne during the clash

Elsewhere in the day, Guardiola reflected on Kevin De Bruyne’s angry reaction to being substituted, to which he said he was “happy” with the response.

De Bruyne was sacrificed to regain control when Liverpool invaded City’s penalty area in the second half and looked furious as he took a seat on the bench.

‘I’m happy to see that!’ Guardiola said. ‘I like it if he’s upset, it’s good. He is happy now. He knew what we were missing, we needed to keep the ball.

‘After (he left) we did better. But listen, Kevin…what can I say about Kevin? We need him and he is important.’
