She has described him as the “perfect ex-husband.”

Thomas, who rose to fame at the age of 13 as a lovestruck Sam in Love Actually, wrote on Instagram: ‘Happy to announce that Talulah and I are engaged. Love is everywhere X’, a reference to the ballad of the Troggs who appeared in the romantic comedy.
