A pedestrian slammed the driver of a $400,000 sports car for parking the engineering marvel partly on the sidewalk and possibly damaging it.
A red Ferrari Roma V8 coupe was recently seen parked at an angle, with its left rear tire on the pavement in the eastern Sydney suburb of Double Bay.
It was filmed and shared with Tik Tok with the title ‘Rich people’s problems in Double Bay Australia’.
‘It never fails to impress me. You buy Ferraris and expensive cars that you literally have no idea how to drive or how to park,” said user who filmed the car Rodis_Life.
“Total disregard for traffic rules and traffic signs.”
A red Ferrari Roma V8 coupe (pictured) was seen in Double Bay, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, with its left rear end parked on the curb.
The pedestrian who filmed the video cannot understand how the driver did not get stuck or cause damage to the vehicle he was under.
The poster shared that the Ferrari had been parked at that angle for over three hours, and even received a parking ticket for “incredibly bad parking.”
The sign said it looked as if the driver had stepped onto the curb as if he were driving “a truck or ute”.
Rodi also believed that the wheel, rim and parts of the rear wing were damaged and could not understand how the driver could not “feel the car getting stuck”.
The Tik Toker also understands that the prestigious low-slung car would have needed to be accelerated to “reach so high while destroying the bottom.”
Sydney’s Double Bay (pictured) has become a mecca for car lovers who want to see luxury cars in person.
“Good luck with that without running up a very expensive repair bill,” he said.
The Australians were surprised by the way the Ferrari had been parked.
“Just because you have money doesn’t mean you have brains,” one wrote.
“The whole team, no idea,” said another.
“No way I would try it in those gutters with those wheels and that ground clearance,” wrote another.
According to data from realestate.com.au, the median house price in Double Bay is $6,625,000, an increase of 11.5 per cent over the past 12 months.
The wealthy suburb has a following among car lovers, who visit the area to spot luxury vehicles and post images on YouTube, as well as ‘Double Bay Cars’ on Tik Tok.
