Ric Flair announced that he and his wife Wendy will be separating after six years of marriage in an emotional statement on Instagram.

The 75-year-old wrestling legend revealed that he and Wendy, 64, who married in 2018, ended their relationship due to their conflicting work schedules.

However, he added that they do so “with respect” and without resentment towards each other after more than a decade together.

“Wendy and I have enjoyed 13 wonderful years,” Flair wrote in the statement. “Like all couples, we’ve been through our ups and downs. (But) I think it’s important for everyone to know right now that we have decided to respectfully separate.”

“I can never thank him enough for being by my side during my terrible health crisis in 2018. He never left my side! And for that I will always be grateful!”

Ric Flair has announced that he and his wife Wendy will be separating after six years of marriage.

‘We’re both working on different projects at the moment and it’s difficult, with my schedule and hers, to make this work.

‘I wish her the best of luck in her projects and I know she supports mine.’

Ric, one of the most iconic wrestlers of all time, and Wendy, a retired All-American professional tennis player, split once before in 2022, only to reconcile a few months later.

But this time it seems they have separated once and for all.

Wendy was Flair’s fifth wife after his previous marriages to Leslie Goodman, Elizabeth Harrell, Tiffany VanDemark and Jacqueline Beems.

She has four children, two from her relationship with Goodman and two from her relationship with Harrell.
