Dolores said that losing weight was a challenge and expressed that ‘it doesn’t happen overnight. It doesn’t come easy.
Before making the switch to Mounjaro, Catania revealed: ‘I took Ozempic, stopped and then started Mounjaro. I was prescribed both because I am insulin resistant/pre-diabetic and have a thyroid problem.’
The mother-of-two admitted that, ‘You know, everyone is losing a lot of weight [on it]’, but added: ‘It’s questionable: what are the repercussions of this when everyone is done? Are there side effects? Every doctor I spoke to said “No.”
Other celebrities have publicly admitted to using Ozempic, including Chelsea Handler, Sharon Osbourne and also Shahs Of Sunset’s Golnesa ‘GG’ Gharachedaghi. However, other Real Housewives stars, including Kyle Richards, have strongly denied taking the weight-loss drug.
The TV personality then explained what led her to stop taking Ozempic after two years, revealing that “it was expensive and everything.”
Despite using Mounjaro, Dolores told The US Sun that she still follows a strict diet and exercise routine in her daily life to achieve her slim figure.
‘But being healthy and leading a healthy lifestyle is cheap, it’s free! I exercise regularly. There is no easy solution to losing weight and I have to watch what I eat.’
