Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (pictured in 1973) has been accused by a former Harvard University classmate of being a cocaine trafficker.

A former classmate of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. at Harvard University accused him of selling cocaine while he was a student.

The bombshell claim was made by author Kurt Andersen on Friday in a scathing column for The Atlantic.

Earlier in the day, Kennedy suspended his third-party presidential campaign and endorsed Republican candidate Donald Trump.

Andersen claimed that as a Harvard student in the 1970s, he bought cocaine from RFK Jr. and his brother Joseph P. Kennedy II for $40 in a dorm room.

“Sometime during my freshman year, I tried cocaine, liked it, and later decided to buy a gram,” Andersen said. “A friend told me that there was a kid in our class who was selling cocaine. The dealer was Bobby Kennedy.”

The writer claimed he approached RFK Jr. and told him to come to his room in the Hurlbut Dormitory that the nephew of Democratic President John F. Kennedy shared with future journalist Peter Kaplan.

“(RFK Jr.) set up a line for me to try and handed me a plastic straw about an inch and a half long. I snorted. We chatted for a minute. I paid him, I think, $40 in cash,” Andersen said.

“It was a lot of money, the equivalent of $300 today. But the cocaine bought from a Kennedy accompanied by a Kennedy brother… the moment of glamour seemed worth it.”

The author claimed he accidentally left the bedroom with the straw used to test the product and Kennedy called him to demand he return it.

“I took him to his room. He didn’t smile or thank me. That was the last time I bought cocaine from anyone,” he said.

Andersen said she decided to reveal her experience because of RFK Jr.’s endorsement of Trump.

“If (Trump) becomes president, as Kennedy is working to make happen, he wants to start executing drug traffickers. He said so in a speech as president in 2018,” he said.He said it again in 2022 when he announced his current candidacy.

The book ‘Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and the Dark Side of Sleep’ details his long history of ‘compulsions and addictions’ dating back to his teenage years.

At just 14, he began burying his anger and sadness in marijuana and psychedelics, and soon turned to hard drugs, including heroin.

His first, but not last, drug-related arrest came a couple of months after he was expelled from one of his high schools for his involvement in drugs.

Decades before marijuana became legal in many states across the country, he was arrested on Cape Cod in August 1970 on a marijuana possession charge, along with the son of JFK’s sister, Eunice Kennedy Shriver.

When he was 29, RFK Jr. overdosed on a flight and was found carrying heroin by police. He was charged with heroin possession and ordered to perform hundreds of hours of community service and remain within New York state limits.
