His sister Noiya and father Eli, 51, remain missing while their uncle Yossi, 53, was kidnapped and taken to Gaza.

Just yesterday, the family had to confirm that the girls’ mother, Lianne, 48, had been massacred in her home during last weekend’s attack.

The girls’ uncles, Raz Matalon and Sharon Sharabi, said they received a series of panicked messages on Oct. 7 from Lianne telling them she had heard gunshots outside their house.

They told MailOnline: “She wrote that she heard gunshots outside her house. These people were shouting and calling in Arabic. And people are running everywhere.

“So they stayed in the safe until they learned that the terrorists had entered the house and tried to open the door.”

It was at this point that all communication between Lianne and her family ceased, leaving her family to wait in vain for news from their loved ones.

The uncles said that it was not until three days later that Israeli soldiers were able to enter Eli and Lianne’s home, where they saw bullets embedded in the walls of the air-raid shelter and in the children’s room.

“There were too big blood stains on the floor,” Matalon and Sharabi said. “They saw the dog lying there dead.”
