Revenge Body personal trainer Autumn Calabrese started to participate in the Khloe Kardashian weight loss show for season three – and explained in detail how she worked with her assigned client so that she could achieve a sustainable lifestyle.
The celebrity trainer based in Los Angeles has trained Khloe's model sister, Kendall Jenner, and TV presenter Tom Bergeron, while developing multiple fitness and nutrition programs to help people reach their health goals.
When she spoke with DailyMail.com about participating in the cast of E! & R 39's Revenge Body, which is being organized by Khloe, known Autumn initially not to like the name of the show, but she decided to participate because of the positive message it brought to participants.
Participate in the ranks: celebrity trainer Autumn Calabrese based in Los Angeles joined E! & Revenge Body for season three of the show, which is being organized by Khloe Kardashian
Collaboration: For the show, Autumn worked with one participant named Terra, a single mother from Ohio. Khloe helped Autumn advise on how to help Terra during the 12 weeks
& # 39; I really love the show, & # 39; said Autumn. & # 39; So many people look at it negatively. I admit it when it was first launched with the name Revenge Body … that's terrible. You don't want to lose weight by taking revenge on someone. & # 39;
Although the personal trainer was not so happy with the name at first, she soon realized that the premise of the show was not to take revenge on a specific person.
This meant that she wanted to participate in the cast of trainers.
& # 39; The show is really about helping the person who is there to transform their lives: physical and emotional state, & # 39; said Autumn.
She joined the third season of the show and was paired to single mother Terra, who was from Ohio.
Terra placed autumn on her 80 days of obsession program, which includes three different phases of strength cardio-based workouts that become more difficult as the days progress. A training plan was also included with the training.
But before the fall, helping clients such as Terra is not only focused on the physical changes that the person is making from outside.
& # 39; I help people transform their bodies and transform their lives, & # 39; she said. & # 39; It's not just about the physical. It's not even about eating & # 39; broccoli & # 39 ;. It is not that they like to eat cookies. There is usually an emotional connection with food. & # 39;
Transformation: & # 39; The show is really about helping the person out there to transform their lives: physical and emotional state, & # 39; said Autumn. Depicted is Terra, the participant of Autumn, before and after the show
Priorities: Autumn placed Terra on its 80 Day Obsession plan, which consists of three phases of strength-based cardio exercises. She believed that Terra could maintain the lifestyle after the show
Full-body work: & # 39; & # 39; I really believe in total health, & said Autumn. & # 39; You cannot have total health just by doing exercise and nutrition & # 39;
The emotional attachment encourages Autumn to dive deeper with her clients and become their own life coaches, allowing them to address emotional difficulties that burden them mentally.
& # 39; If you don't go deeper … you can take the weight off, but they can't hold it off, & # 39; she said. & # 39; If you don't tackle that, it's just too easy to fall back into old patterns because you didn't treat the wound, you didn't heal the wound.
& # 39; I really believe in total health. You cannot have total health just by doing exercise and nutrition. You have to feel mentally clear and mentally strong. & # 39;
Looking at her clients, both mentally and physically, is worthwhile for the personal trainer, who has more than 15 years of experience in the profession.
& # 39; It's wonderful to see how someone goes through that transformation, & # 39; she said. & # 39; Rotate the mirror towards them and show them & # 39; look how great you are & # 39 ;. I was very excited to be part of the show. & # 39;
While on 80 Day Obsession Terra did one-hour training a day, six days a week.
Her diet was then changed to eliminate overly processed foods, sugars, and alcohols for 12 weeks while working with the fall.
& # 39; For me, it's about sustainability, & # 39; said the trainer about her plan for Terra, as well as for other customers. & # 39; I don't want results where she can't keep up with them. For me, I am only going to use techniques that work and are a lifestyle that people can maintain.
& # 39; Can we really make people lose weight fast? Yes. But as soon as you go back to real life, the weight returns. & # 39;
The plan: her routine with Terra meant she trained for one hour six days a week. Autumn also eliminated overly processed foods, sugars, and alcohols from the Terra diet
Top tips: Autumn recommends people to find workouts that make exercise fun for them. She also advised people to celebrate the small achievements
Participants who appear on Revenge Body, in particular, receive the A-list celebrity treatment by collaborating with both personal trainers and nutritionists.
Although the fall confessed that this route is not possible for everyone, she found that her work with Terra during the 12 weeks was something that people could replicate in their own lives.
& # 39; So many people would watch the show … and they would think, "Well, that's great, I wish I had access to them," said Autumn. & # 39; The biggest reason Revenge Body had me was because [other people] could do exactly what Terra did. & # 39;
She added: & # 39; I only saw [Terra] once a week. She did every other training alone. & # 39;
Autumn would then check in every day to check if everything went well for the single mother.
& # 39; You don't have to live in Los Angeles and have access to celebrity trainers, & # 39; she said.
Autumn worked with Beach body, which costs $ 100 a year and gives people access to an abundance of training courses that they can stream from their home. This option, as well as others on the market, ensures that people can receive training aid both easier and cheaper, Autumn said.
Regarding tips for people to help them achieve their own healthy lifestyles, Autumn recommends first finding a training program that is fun and manageable for the individual.
& # 39; There must be some kind of fun in fitness to stay in it, & # 39; she said. & # 39; If you are upset every day, that is probably not the right form of fitness for you. It is OK not to be enthusiastic every day. & # 39;
She advises people to pay attention every day to the small achievements that bring them closer to their goals.
& # 39; Just being aware of those small wins to have that motivation to keep going while you are looking for your soulmate program, & # 39; said Autumn.
