Is Bec Judd considering a move into politics?
The AFL WAG and Melbourne businesswoman turned heads when she was seen breaking bread with a circle of Australia’s powerful conservatives on Thursday night.
Sky News commentator Rita Panahi shared a series of photos featuring Judd, 41, and Liberal National Party senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price, who became a national figure when she crusaded against an Indigenous Voice in Parliament last year.
They were joined in happy snaps by PR guru James Radford, former PR critic for Western Australian mining magnate Gina Rinehart, and Melbourne richbag Kathy Garnaut.
“Thank you for being my dinner companions,” Judd said in an Instagram post.
The famous faces were among 375 people who gathered for a function organized by right-wing pressure group the Institute of Public Affairs, which campaigns for conservative economic and political principles.
Former Prime Minister Tony Abbott and former Donald Trump aide Mick Mulvaney also attended.

Also attending the dinner was Liberal National Party senator Jacinta Price, who made a big impression on the national stage last year by campaigning against Indigenous Voice.
Judd has become increasingly outspoken on political issues since the Covid pandemic, when she was highly critical of Melbourne’s long lockdown and criticized then-Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews as “Dictator Dan”.
He publicly clashed with Andrews over the crime rate near his home suburb in the Bayside area of the city in May 2022, claiming the state government “didn’t seem to care”.
“I’m so sick of gang rapes, assaults and home invasions in Bayside,” she fumed. “We feel insecure.”
Mr Andrews rejected Judd’s attack and said he was “not interested in having an argument” with her. He then did just that, claiming that independent crime statistics refuted his “radical assessments of crime patterns.”
Judd has continued to speak out on crime and justice issues this year, describing Melbourne as “woke, broken and violent”.

He recently slammed Andrews’ successor, Jacinta Allan, for “remaining silent while we wonder if a gang of young men armed with machetes are going to invade our homes while our children are sleeping.”
Victoria Police rejected Judd’s claims, stating that Bayside was one of the safest places to live in Melbourne, pointing to statistics showing it had the third lowest level of criminal offenses in the city.
Judd has worked in the fashion business and as a model and television presenter. She has four children with her husband, former West Coast Eagles and Carlton captain Chris Judd.
