Armando Broja’s proposed transfer from Chelsea to Ipswich Town has stalled.
As Mail Sport reported earlier this week, Broja was set to move to Portman Road on a season-long loan with a £30million obligation to buy if Ipswich avoided relegation from the Premier League.
However, there are now concerns surrounding Broja’s Achilles tendon and this has caused Ipswich to be delayed.
It is understood the deal could still go ahead if Chelsea agree to lower their demands for the 22-year-old Albanian striker.
Broja has already played in the Premier League for three different clubs.

The 22-year-old has not been included in either of Chelsea’s squads this season.
He has scored two goals in 26 top-flight games for Chelsea, plus six in 32 for Southampton, where he spent the 2021-22 campaign on loan.
Broja was loaned to Fulham last season but failed to score in eight Premier League appearances for the Cottagers.
His career to date has been marred by injury problems.
He tore his anterior cruciate ligament in December 2022 and was subsequently sidelined for nine months.
Broja was subsequently ruled out for a month at the end of 2023 with a knee problem.
