A British television presenter has told how she was punched in the face while boarding a flight to the United States after revealing herself to be a supporter of Donald Trump.
Although former model Antonia Harman, 43, was attacked, she was the one who was removed from the British Airways flight to Austin, Texas, on Monday.
She told MailOnline: “People hate Trump so much you can’t talk about him – it’s a political war.”
Antonia spoke out after reports earlier this week claimed a brutal fight had broken out on the flight over a Trump MAGA hat.
However, the Cornish energy healer confirmed that this was not the case.
Antonia was flying to Austin with a friend to promote her new TV show, The Healing Revolution, which airs on Sky in December.
She said a woman in her sixties who she believes is from Mexico hit her out of the blue.

He had expressed support for former president and current Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump (pictured Oct. 31).
TV presenter Tracey has demanded British Airways apologize for the terrifying incident.
Tracey left with hundreds of money out of pocket after being removed from commercial flight to America
Antonia said: ‘We were on the shuttle at Heathrow on the way to the flight and I started chatting to people, mostly Americans, about what I should do while I was in Austin for the next week.
“It was very fun and friendly, and several people pitched in. I then started talking to a man in his thirties about broader issues and the election.
‘We were talking about the Joe Rogan podcast that Donald Trump appeared on and I started talking about that.
“I’m a big fan of Donald Trump and I don’t hide it, I think you should be able to express your political opinions without being physically attacked for them.”
‘I mentioned other people, including conservative television host Tucker Carlson, who is also known for harassing people of a certain political opinion.
‘As the bus approached the plane, I was standing with my arm raised holding the railing above my head when a lady in her sixties with tight curly hair approached me.
‘I was surprised by that and moved my arm out of the way. I may have accidentally touched her face, but no more than that, she went crazy, she seemed possessed by a demon.
‘He punched me full force in the face and then walked away. I was so shocked and horrified that I burst into tears, I couldn’t believe what had just happened.
The British television presenter said she was shocked to be punched in the face simply for expressing her political views.
Mrs Harman was left shaken and sobbing by the incident on the plane, to the point that she collapsed in the terminal.
‘She went economy and I went and took a seat in business class. For about five minutes I sat there crying and shaking and then I felt like I had to say something to someone.
‘I called a flight supervisor and told her I had been assaulted and at first she was very understanding.
‘The woman was identified and lied about what happened, saying I had assaulted her, which simply never happened.
‘The next thing I knew, seven armed police were entering the plane and I could feel the mood had turned against me.
“I was told I would have to leave the plane and these armed officers made me march in front of other passengers, it was incredibly humiliating.
‘I was in a terrible state, shaking and sobbing so much that I fell to the floor of the terminal. It was horrible and I feel like I was the victim even though I was the one who was attacked.
‘I said I didn’t want to press charges against the attacker, I have no desire to ruin his life, but I feel BA has a lot to answer for.
‘I was treated terribly by an airline I fly with frequently and until now I have always had impeccable service.
“They owe me at the very least an apology and a refund of the hundreds of pounds I had to spend booking a hotel so I could catch the next available flight to Austin the next day.
“At least it shows how toxic the atmosphere has become in the run-up to the US election, when a British woman cannot express her admiration for Trump without getting punched in the face for it.
“I hope he wins a resounding victory, now more than ever.”
British Airways declined to comment and referred MailOnline to the Metropolitan Police.
A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said: “Shortly after 12.45pm on Monday 28 October, Heathrow Police were made aware of an incident involving two women waiting to board a plane at Terminal 5.
‘A woman in her 40s and another in her 60s made accusations of affray. Investigations are ongoing.’
